The Day-Date came to market a few years after the Datejust in the mid-1950s. In addition to offering the wildly successful automatically changing date display on the dial. the Day-Date also presents the day spelled out in full at the 12-hour marker. As a member of the Oyster Perpetual family. the iconic President's watch also boasts a waterproof case and a Perpetual movement with self-winding technology. The Rolex 1803 for sale here was produced in the 1970s and is in great condition for a watch of its age. Its feature set includes a very desirable slate "Pie Pan" dial topped with yellow gold stick hour markers and central hands filled with luminous plots in a handsome patina.
