The Rolex 126660 is a newer variation of the Sea-Dweller Deepsea. In addition to offering several modern upgrades. such as a ceramic "Cerachrom" bezel insert. a Chromalight Maxi display. and 904L Oystersteel. the ref. 126660 also runs on a brand new calibre 3235 Perpetual movement. The calibre 3235 features an innovative Chronergy escapement with a more efficient skeletonized structure as well as a blue Parachrom hairspring and high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers. The movement is accurate up to -2/+2 seconds per day and offers an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The Deepsea is also notable for its waterproofness of up to 12.800 feet. a resistance that it can attribute to the addition of a Helium Escape Valve. a Titanium screw-down case back. a 5.5mm sapphire crystal. and a Triplock screw-down crown with three sealed zones.
