| Case: | Excellent case which has previously been polished that shows surface wear from previous use. Beautiful red and blue "Pepsi" bezel insert. The insert has surface scratches throughout. Inner caseback is stamped: 1675. Serial and reference numbers are crisp and well defined. Acrylic crystal shows some wear from use. |

Vintage Watch Condition Examination
This Rolex watch is in vintage condition. The case is in great condition with scratches and appears to have been polished. The "Pepsi" bezel shows some wear and scratches. the red portion has faded a bit. The bezel is a later service replacement. The dial has developed patina and shows wear throughout. this can be hard to notice with the crystal and depending on the light. The dial has a spot to the right of the two o'clock lume plot that can be hard to notice. The lume on the dial has developed patina and has an almost sand like color with some tiny dark spots. The 12. one. and two o'clock lume plots have aged to lighter color than the rest of the lume plots. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands has aged similarly to the dial. The lume in the seconds hand is slightly lighter than the others. The bracelet is a later addition and is of the Submariner style with the flip lock.
Vintage Rolex GMT-Master 1675 "Pepsi"

The GMT Master is Rolex's signature pilot's watch. complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955. with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It's one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it's instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1978 example is in overall nice. honest vintage condition. This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 5 dial and the defining characteristic of this is the tall coronet and the placement of the "M" in "Master" over the "C" in chronometer. it divides the C and M. This watch has a really vintage vibe with the sandy colored lume and patinated dial with the nicely worn bezel. If you are in the market for a GMT with character this one is worth considering!
