The GMT Master II 116710 made its debut in 2007. The popular edition of the iconic pilot's watch brought with it many notable upgrades. such as a then-new calibre 3186 movement with a smoother hour hand and a Paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring. a new bezel mounting. and an upgrade from the Twinlock to a Triplock waterproof screw-down crown. The ref. 116710 also received a larger Maxi display on the dial and a newer-style case and bracelet. The ref. 116710BLNR was released in 2013 and is a very desirable edition of the modern GMT Master II for its unique black and blue Batman Rolex ceramic bezel insert and matching blue 24-hour hand on the dial.
