| Case: | Excellent stainless steel case which appears to have been polished previously. Comes with a beautifully faded fat font insert. Caseback is stamped 5513 "IV.71". Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible. Acrylic crystal has some wear consistent with age. |
| Dial: | The dial is in great. honest condition with light patina throughout. The edge of the dial from 12-7 has developed some dark patina and it can be hard to notice depending on the light. The lume on the dial has aged to a lovely lemon color. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the hands is a bit darker than the lume on the dial. They work together nicely. |
| Bracelet: | The watch comes with a later 93150 with 580 end links and divers extension. The clasp is marked J6 indicating it is a later replacement from 1985. The clasp shows signs of polishing. The bracelet is in overall great condition with light stretch and some scratches. |

This 5512 has aged beautifully over the years. From the gorgeous yellow lume to the faded ghost bezel this thing checks all the boxes. In addition to the bezel fading to a grey color that can look blueish/lavender in certain lights the font is thicker and collectors refer to these as "fat font" bezels. One neat characteristic of the bezel is that the four and zero in "40" are actually touching and collectors refer to this as a "Kissing 40." This is a great opportunity to add a nicely aged Submariner to the collection and we can almost guarantee you wont find another exactly like this one!
